3,2,1...

FINE THEN!  IF i can't find my camera cord then I will just look at the pictures on there and blog about it and then in the future add pics.  So to start out (we are starting backwards...)  the last pictures on my camera were when my Dad took Noah and me to NASA and Space Center.  This was a BLAST!  (hahaha.. get the pun there??  i'm so punny... and again...)  So we walk in to Space Center and I think Noah is a bit overwhelmed.  First he was just kind of staring not really wanting to do anything and then I saw it.  THe COOLEST thing EVER.  It was a roller coaster MARS machine thingy.  It was a computer thingy that you sit in this enclosed thingy and it blast you off like you do in a space shuttle (I'm such a good describer of things.. I have won an award recently for describing things.  It was this pretty little purply ribbony thingy with a gold and red little circle in the middle of this big line...)  ANYWHO.. when I saw that, I told Noah we were going on that unless he found something to do...  WOW, did that work!!  He started looking and playing with everything!!  (I was hoping he would call me on my bluff because i SO wanted to ride it...)  His favorite thing (Uh oh, I feel a description coming on.. this FOLKS is why I NEED MY CAMERA CORD!!) was this thing that had these levers used as pumps.. and then when the "fuel" gets "full" you push this button thingy and this space shuttle blasts off.  Anyways, he did that like a million times and loved it.
We got to ride the tram around NASA which was fun.  They took us to where the astronauts train and it was so cool!  Unfortunately none of the astronauts were there because it was ...uh.. some holiday.. can't remember which one...  Anyways, you are on this over looking bridge type thingy and looking down on where they train.  Papa (my dad) was explaining what everything was (which was so cool..  because then the tour guide would say the exact same thing... .my Dad is pretty smart!).  Noah seemed interested and looked up at my dad (like he was going to ask a question) and said, "Papa!?  They sure do need to clean that place up!!!"  well, the tour guide thought that was hilarious... but seriously!?  This is big stuff, the place where astronauts train, and huge mock up of a space shuttle.. etc. and he just talks about cleaning???  One would think that his mother must have an immaculate house.. but then again, you guys know me and know THATS not true.  Not sure where his obsession of cleanliness comes from.  Maybe from my Grandma Spires.  You would never know it by looking at the house now, but before she passed away you could go to her house anytime and not find a spec of dirt (wow, am I way off topic or what??).
O.K.  back to NASA.  We went back to the SPACE CENTER and played a lot on the HUGE playground.  It was so much fun...  well, for my dad anyways, because he got to watch me chase Noah through all the tunnels...  punk.
Then we ended the day at Rocket Park.  Noah loved looking at the real space shuttles.  I think he was a little disappointed because he thought one was going to blast off...  He also enjoyed telling us (yes, that's right...) how the shuttles went together and how they blasted off.  SO fun!  When we were walking back to the car after a picture perfect afternoon my dad said, "well, Noah, do you still want to be an astronaut??" and my sweet son replied, "Nope, I'm going to be a fireman!"  well..  can't win 'em all!
THanks for the fun day Dad/Papa!  You ROCK!!  (again, no pun intended.. or was it??)

Bring your camera and memory device to my house. You can put it directly into my computer, no cord needed. WHat kind of memory does it have? I may be able to transfer then to my laptop.
