5 months?? really??

Well, today is Kara's five month birthday (thank you, Rachel, for pointing that out.. I thought she was four months!)  It's amazing with your first baby you know the exact number of days your baby has been alive, the second baby, you at least know how many months she is, poor third baby! I had to be told how old she is!!  Oh well.. that's me!  Anyways, I gave her solid food yesterday for the first time.  It was rice cereal mixed with apple sauce.  As you can see, she's not a fan!!  

Noah and Kate decided to "help" feed her.  Can you tell she is about to choke to death??  Poor baby!  

Well, after Kara decided to NOT eat (shocking, MY child won't eat....)  I was goofing around with Noah and Kate and trying to "feed" them.  Well, Noah was laughing and said, "No Way!!".  Kate took a bite.. and LIKED IT!!  She is such a freak!  She made me feed her the rest of the rice cereal, applesauce mix!  I had fixed pork chops, green beans, rolls, and mashed potatoes, but all of that was "sistusing" (disgusting) and the baby food was good!?  GO FIGURE!!  People wonder why I call her a freak!!

Anyways, Kara is growing up so fast.  She has rolled over (1 or 2 times) She smiles constantly (although her tongue is sticking out...), and talks A LOT.  I just moved her in to her crib and now she is sharing a room with her sister.  Kate doesn't want to share her "noom", while Noah feels left out because he is the only one in his room!  A mother just can't win!!  

Kara is such a wonderful addition to our family, and I am blessed she is in our lives.

OH NO, If she is five months, I am late on her 4 month check up!  hmm.. maybe I should go make that appointment!
