I can't believe my last baby is 2 now!! It seems like just yesterday I was giving birth to her yelling "I'm retarded!!!" (For her complete birth story click http://lindsaysurface.blogspot.com/2008/12/pure-joy.html). This year has been such a year for Kara, from learning to walk, to running up and down the stairs, she has proven herself to be just as "big" as her older brother and sister. Kara started out being such a sweet angel, and while she still has "angel moments" the girl has come in to her own personality. There is no better way of saying it then calling her a clown. She makes me LAUGH, pretty much all the time. If her brother or sister try and tell her how to do something she looks at them and says, "SHH!!", she has taught herself how to do foward rolls (maybe SHE will be my gymnast), she makes silly faces just to get us to laugh, and she has us all (even including her brother) wrapped around her little ringlets. She is a mess, but a good mess. She is SO full of life and happiness, it is pretty much contagious. When I think back on her first year and how quiet and passive she was, it makes me feel like someone came in my house in the middle of the night and switched out that baby with a different one!
She is starting to talk more and more, which is funny to me. She is still my "baby". It's hard to believe when Noah was her age I was 7 months pregnant with Kate. He seemed so old to me, and Kara still seems so young to me! Kara loves to entertain, and I really don't think the girl has a shy bone in her body. I guess her brother and sister took all the "shy bones" and left her with the silly ones.
Kara-- you have been a welcomed addition to our family. Your fun, and quite hysterical. You are very hard to describe in words because you are THAT funny. You are a beautiful girl, and love to give kisses, and "pet" your baby cousins. I know that they will probably never grow hair because you "pet" them so much, but hopefully they won't mind (now their parents, on the other hand....). I'm so glad you are a part of our family. There would definitely be a void without you here. We love you so much, little Boosie!!

Yes, we love you Boosie! You make us all laugh! Everyone should have a Boosie!
I had so much fun with her those two days at VBS. She has the cutest personality and always seemed to have a sly little smile on her face. I don't remember the birth story; I'll have to go back and read it. Sounds interesting!
Love you, Boosie. You can pet Addison as much as you want!
That is too cute! And I had never read the birth story, so thanks for the link!
