2009 in Review

I thought (in bullet form) that I would review some highlights of this year. If anything, just for our family to remember just how blessed we are!

*Chris had his new job for a full year. He loves this job and we are so thankful that he was given this opportunity. Again, so much better than the sweat shop.. I mean PWC.. that he used to work for! His big goal this year is to finish his CPA. He starts in January.. wish him luck!! He won't need it though.. he is brilliant!

*I successfully kept my children alive for another year! Quite the accomplishment I should say! seriously... sometimes I am amazed at this accomplishment! hmmmm.. I have blogged for a full year, too.. is that an accomplishment?? I sound rather boring.. oh well!

*Noah started Kindergarten this year and is thriving at it. He continues to amaze me with his questions on a daily basis! He also lost 2 teeth.. I can't believe he is 6!! He did his last year of T-Ball, before coach pitch this year. He will also start in an "invitation only" gymnastics class. They meet twice a week and condition the kids for TEAM. Olympics 2020 baby!!

*Kate is now in preschool without her brother and is doing great. She will turn 4 in January. She is growing up faster than her brother did. She needs to slow down!! Her compassionate heart continues to amaze me. She is beautiful inside and out. She, too, is in gymnastics, but in August of this coming year, wants to start "Balleg" (ballet).

*Kara learned to crawl and walk this year! She says a few words like MAMA, DADA, and well... uh.. oh yeah, BYE BYE, and HI. She can also point and scream with the best of them!! She is a clown and knows it. She loves to fake laugh, and enjoys when people laugh at what she is doing. I've really enjoyed watching her personality thrive and develop. (She will be 2 in June..)

*Waffles proved she is a cat and has more than one life. She got hit by a car, but has bounced back beautifully and is as cranky as ever. She is now 8 years old.. and still runs the house

*Fluffy is BIG. She is actually just a big teddy bear. She is a sweet dog, but all puppy. She jumps on the kids and can chew peoples houses like no ones business. I forgot what puppies are like... hopefully this stage won't last too long!

*We bought a new house this year! Wow.. not expecting that one. It's proven to be a good move, and nice to have more space. We are slowly getting it decorated the way we want, just really needing some rugs!! :)
