Kate-ism

Kate has a hard time staying asleep at night.  She was like this in the old house as well.  She wakes up at 2am screaming.  So last night, I was begging and pleading with her to stay asleep at night.  If she got scared in the middle of the night, I told her that we are right there and to just close her eyes and go back to sleep.  I also told her Jesus is ALWAYS with her so there is nothing to worry about.  She is terrified of shadows.  SO, she looked at me with a stern face and said, "yes, but I can SEE the shadows, I can't SEE Jesus!"  fair enough.  I told her Jesus lives in her heart.  To that she said, "when I lay on my tummy, he falls out".....  Hmmmmmmm...   I gave up and left.  She ended up in our bed again last night...
