We are IN

So, I guess an update is LONG overdue.  I haven't been in a "creative-bloggy" mood lately, but I guess I should update something!  We are finally all moved in the new house.  I love it!  It's so nice to have so much more space for the kiddos!  I wish I could post some pictures, but I lost my camera... again...  Poor baby Kara won't have ANY pictures of her growing up!  Noah has like 1000 of his first 6 months of life.. and well, Kara.. umm.. MAYBE I can find 5 pictures.. and that's stretching it!  Maybe I will just tell her some of Noah's pictures are pictures of her!  Think that will work?  Not if she reads this one day...
Anyways, all of our boxes are unpacked, and the were unpacked within the first 3 days.  My husband is now known as the "packing/unpacking Nazi".. but I'm not complaining.. he got the job done.. and fast!  We got most of the living room decorations up.. and we are slowly making it our home.  We have some paint that we are planning to do, all in time though!  The house is great.. but now that we have a bigger house, can't afford the air or the lights.. so we really can't see it! haha.. so I guess it doesn't really matter when we paint....
We have met some of our neighbors and they are REALLY nice!!  I'm sad to say that I don't think I will have any "blogging material" from them!  (that, and they all can afford a computer and know how to work one.. so even if there WAS material...  and there is NOT... I wouldn't be able to blog about it anyway!!)  I guess if I get desperate I can visit my old neighbors and see what crazy antics they are up to.. and I know you will be dying for me to share it!
The stairs and second floor are proving to be interesting!  There is laminate flooring upstairs so it sounds like we own 3 freakin' (just for you uncle nelson..) elephants!  But I will so take that.. the mess stays UPSTAIRS.. which is awesome!  One of the little spindle thingys for the balcony broke and several are loose so that will probably have to be our first home improvement project...  OHHH DAAAAAD... HOPE YOU ARE READING THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The gas stove was interesting.. but I think I have the hang of it.  When I first tried it, it didn't light and I totally freaked out my sister-in-law!  She started opening all the windows and doors.  I must confess, it did smell strongly of gas... and not the kids gas.. haha..  I finally got the hang of it, and me being a "know it all" had to show chris how to do it..  well, he lit it right away, and I still couldn't get it.. oh well.  I think I finally have it down.. let's hope.  If not, there MIGHT be a gas explosion in Rustic Oaks....
In two weeks my oldest baby starts kinder.... AND he has a loose tooth.. I can't believe it!  He is growing so fast!
I know.. not an interesting blog.. but just needed to update.  Life is getting a little back to normal now..
