When is this over??

Kara had her first ever performance today!  After years of watching her bubba and sissy on stage, she finally gets to join in the ranks of "I'm only up here because my mom is making me and I would really rather NOT do this".  She brings her own "spice" to the performance mix.  See, Noah brings the "omgosh, I can't believe the whole world is staring at me, if I just stare at the floor and never look up this will all be over soon" spice.  Kate brings the "I LOVE being on stage and performing, I will act a little shy, but really the more I do this, the more I love it!!!" spice.. and Kara, oh Kara.  Kara brings the "I'm going to not pay attention to this and just look around while I'm on stage.  Seriously, mom, this is SO lame.. why are you making me do this??  Puh-lease.  There are so many better things I could be doing... like:

laughing at Mrs. Molly,

folding my arms to make a point,

I'll just stand here and make faces with my mouth, while putting
my hand down my dress...

fine.  I will jingle the bell, but i'm NOT singing.

maybe I will just come over here and lean against the piano.  When
is this over???

So, there you have it.  Kara's first performance.  Not near as scared as Noah was, but not liking it like Kate.  I guess she is in the middle somewhere.  Maybe after some time, she will start enjoying it?  We shall see, she has plenty of other times on stage to show us!!
In somewhat realted news, she is the star of the week at MDO.  She has waited so long to be Star of the Week, and was so excited that it was today!!  I love my little star and can't believe how fast she is growing up!
